Issue:
Flawed time allowance with labor foot note incomplete/inaccurate. To remove the front and rear door handles the door glass must be removed

Response:
  • Motor/CCC –Labor is After Door Glass and Rear Sash Channel is Removed" has been applied to the "Front Door Handle, R&I/R&R procedure. Footnote: "Includes D&R Door Lock Assy" has been applied to the "Rear Door Handle" procedure, and the labor for the "Rear Door Handle" has been changed to .5hr. Overlap has been applied to the R&R Door Lock Assy: "With Door Handle Removed, Deduct .2hr."
  • ADP –ADP does not currently provide footnotes on its system, but it does provide the operations needed for the R & I of the door glass for the replacement of the door handle. No changes are warranted.
  • Mitchell–Responded with labor note, "w/Door Glass Removed."
Results/Change
Including the time to R&I the glass adds 1.0 to the operation or a 300% increase.
