The
labor allowance is based on OEM procedures.
The manufacturer replacement procedure as described in their
service manual and reiterated by Randy Boyd of General Motors is
that it does not require removal of the rear bumper or replacement
of the door hinge pin. MOTOR: January 13, 2003 1) Add if Required, "Add for power units" with labor time of 0.4 hours. 2) If not necessary to remove the bumper to gain access to remove the back door lower hinge pin. 3) Hinge pin only requires replacement if damaged. |
