Part number correct, no database change necessary.

The fasteners are not serviced separately and are supplied with the belt moulding. The belt moulding part number provided by Mitchell is correct per manufacturer.   OEM service procedures do not designate the fasteners as a non-reusable part. Refer to NON-REUSABLE PARTS on Procedure Page P1 for further explanation if necessary.

A non-OEM replacement fastener is available through Crest Net Sales. (Part #CRX15296)

Please refer all users to the DAMAGED OR NON REUSABLE MOLDING S AND FASTENERS on page g6 in the MOTOR GTE pages regarding molding replacement which states: "Some moldings such as aluminum backed adhesive type and urethaned mounted reveal moldings may be  damaged or broken during normal R&I procedures. Additionally, some plastic or metal fasteners may be damaged and their ability to be reused jeopardized because of single use design, age or exposure to the elements. Caution should be taken while removing all fasteners, both metal and plastic. MOTOR recommends these factors be considered and mutually agreed upon
before finalizing any repair cost estimate." The part number F8DZ5421452-311 is not and has never been published in the MOTOR CRASH ESTIMATING GUIDE as the part number for the belt molding on the Taurus/Sable front door.
