Issue:

 

1.      Inconsistency between databases.

Suggestion:

To all providers, please review the operation:

 

1. List a separate time allowance for both the mirror assembly and the mirror glass.

2. Review time allowance to R& I mirror glass. There should be a higher time allowance to R&I an undamaged mirror glass than to R&R a broken mirror glass.

 We currently publish an allowance of 0.8hrs to R&R the mirror assembly noted accordingly with the door trim panel removed.  We also furnish an allowance of 0.2hrs to R&R the mirror glass.  Both labor times correspond with the recommended Volvo replacement procedure for R&I and R&R.

 Applied refinish time .4 hrs. to housing; also applied .9 R&R to mirror housing and drive assembly.

Footnote "Time includes R&R/R&I mirror glass, housing, seal, frame, drive assembly, lower cover and inner trim. "  

The mirror glass time of .2 remains unchanged.

 ADP's labor time is based on New and Undamaged parts.  ADP's Replacement time for the 2000 Volvo V70 SE 4 Door Wagon Outer R/C Mirror is 1.2 hours.  This time includes Trim Panel R&I and Mirror Overhaul (including 0.2 hours to R&I the glass).
