¨       To facilitate the replacement of this panel both end panels (quarter panel section, EC01-53-9Y2A, Side End Member and EC01-70-451A, Corner Plate) must be removed for access adding additional time to this operation.

1. Labor notes should state the additional steps and/or parts that must be removed for access.

 The labor note has been updated to reflect the necessity to remove the rear body panel, both side end members and the corner plates

 8.5 hrs. Labor Note: Includes R&R Rear Body Panel (subtract 5.0)

 Updated hinge pillar footnote to "Time is after fender, hood, door, windshield, upper rail and instrument panel are removed. Added deduct to upper rail in overlap operations: R&R upper rail, with hinge pillar off, deduct 3.0 hours.

 based upon our review of the ADP provided replacement time on the Rear Body Panel (G/N 0523), we will be adding an additional 1.6 hrs to the full replacement of the Rear Body Panel which will include time to detach and re-weld the Rear Body Panel from both the Lt/Rt Tailgate Gutter (G/N 0373/0374) and Qtr Panel Lower Reinf (G/N 0518/0519). This change will be made available on the February 2003 CD. Please note that the additional time being added is only to detach and re-weld the Rear Body Panel to both the Lt/Rt mentioned pieces. Full replacement time for these pieces will only be found on their respective Guide Numbers and would need to be entered on the estimate to receive the full replacement time provided.
