Acura TL, 1999-2003, Headlight R&R time 

Mitchell only provides 1.3 r&r for lens and housing.  This includes R&I of bumper assembly or 1.0 hours.  This allows for only .3 to transfer all components of the HID system that are attached.  The headlamp housing does not include bulbs, bulb cover, igniter, seals, HID cover, Inverter for the HID, and signal marker bulb.  All of these items attach to the housing and must be transferred from damaged to new housing for the allowed .3  This does not seem correct.

With the bumper removed, there are two bolts attaching the lens and housing.  The turn signal lamp and side marker lamp bulbs push into a socket.  There is one screw that holds the HID cover in place and two screws that hold the igniter to the housing.  After review, we are confident 0.3hrs (18 minutes) is accurate to perform the listed operations.  Therefore, no adjustments to the database are required.

 Changes labor time on headlamp assembly to 0.7 hours with footnote "Time is after bumper cover is removed, includes R&I/R&R bulbs, bulb cover, igniter, seals and inverter."
