Mitchell and Motor:

To facilitate the replacement of the hinge pillar, the welded “Cowl side reinforcement” panel must be removed for access (Part number GD7A-53-281, in the Cowl and Dash section of crash guide.

Motor:

The “labor note” for the inner hinge pillar (part number GG2A7004X) states “Part included with left side cowl trim.” This appears to be misleading as the cowl trim is plastic and the inner hinge pillar is metal.

Suggestion

To All:

1. Please review operation and labor notes

Response:
ADP: We believe that it is required to remove the cowl side reinforcement as well. We believe our time of 16.9 hrs is enough time to do this as well as all other operations required. Therefore the time we have assigned this part will remain the same.
