Inquiry
(as stated by inquirer)
Motor has correctly identified the unusual sequence for the
removal of the radiator; the
AC condenser must be removed to access the radiator Suggestion: Mitchell, please review this operation. Response: Mitchell: Mitchell labor allowance for the radiator is 2.4hrs. The procedure calls for detaching the radiator from the condenser (held together by four bolts). The condenser remains in the vehicle as stated in the service procedure. The condenser allowance is 1.1hrs. Access to the condenser is from the front (bumper, grille). Likewise, unbolted from the radiator which remains in the vehicle as stated in the service procedure.
MOTOR: 04/01/05 -
MOTOR updated the labor time on the
radiator to 1.8 hours which includes R&I/R&R upper and lower
shrouds. The labor time on the AC condenser includes R&I/R&R upper
and lower shrouds. |
