Inquiry (as stated by inquirer)

In the “Refinish Operations” section of the ADP 2000 Data Base Reference Manual (page 139 in the “Operations Not Included” section it states; “Mask inner, adjacent jambs Mask mouldings”. ADP now wants to change this operation from not-included to included.

 

Suggestion:

ADP  The industry would be better served by maintaining the existing standard for this operation as being not included; changing the classification midstream will lead to confusion and misunderstanding within our industry.

Response:

ADP: 7/31/2003 - We have reviewed changing this to included, however, the decision has been made to leave this as a not included operation for masking inner and adjacent jambs, as well as mouldings.
