Suggestion: ¨ Motor: Please review operation and add labor note. ¨ Mitchell: Please review operation, add labor note and designate operation as mechanical. ¨ ADP: Please review operation. Response: Mitchell: Operation was designated as mechanical and time adjusted based on the necessity to loosen the axle housing and stabilizer bar for access as well as the need to remove the mount bracket and EGR tube. Labor notes were input to reflect these necessities.
ADP: 04/21/2004 We have this left engine mount in our system as a mechanical operation. Based upon our research we found that the differential must be dropped for the left engine mount to be removed on 4WD models for the Explorer and the Explorer Sport Trac. We will change the labor in our system to allow for this time.
MOTOR: 04/01/05 - MOTOR has added an "Add if Required" operation, to R&R the left motor mount with 4WD with labor time of 2.0 hours and footnote "Time is for lowering axle housing to R&R left mount mount."
