Inquiry (as stated by inquirer) We have a 2002 Subaru Impreza in the shop. I noticed that while adding radiator support components that the refinish time did not include clear Coat time. Pathways will not let you add the clear coat time to the Refinish line. If you could have the database changed to add the clear coat time.
Suggestion to all data providers: Please review this clear coat allowance operation.
Response:
Mitchell: 04/06/2004 Mitchell refinish allowances for
inner panels (e.g. radiator supports and aprons)
reference duplicating the OE finish which is not clear
coated from the factory. In the event clear coat is
desired, the additional clear coat option can be
accessed from the UltraMate reference sheet.
ADP: 04/08/2004 On the ADP system if the user wants to receive clear coat on the interior sheetmetal they simply need to select the two-stage interior surfaces option in the option field. Once this is dome clear coat will be added to these parts.
MOTOR: 04/01/05 - MOTOR/CCC - Using the Pathways system: In order to add clearcoat to an inner panel, such as radiator support or apron, simply click on the estimate line containing the part, click on the Edit Line button, and check the Clear Coat check box in the Estimate Line Properties, then click on the OK button.
