Cycle Time ….a definition
CYCLE - A single occurrence of a periodically repeated phenomenon.
TIME - A non-spatial continuum in which events occur in apparently irreversible succession....New Colegiet Dictionary
Put Simply…. The interval separating 2 points on this continuum. Where as 1 point is the beginning and 1 point is the end and a lot of production stuff happens in the middle as quickly as possible to drive cost and inefficiency out of the system so we can make everyone happy and improve CSI!!!
OK so how do people really define CYCLE TIME??
