CIC Meeting, Anchorage, Alaska

At the Anchorage CIC meeting the Insurance Committee completed a workshop that identified the top 25 insurers, the estimating systems they use, and whether or not they mandate repair shops to use these systems in order to be in their direct repair programs.
The Committee solicited the information from the attendees and will verify it with the insurers in the days to come. Contradictions and changes will be discussed at the NACE meeting. Once the Committee has verified the findings, letters will be sent to those mandating the use of one system. The letter will request a rationale for their decision.
