Collision Industry Conference (CIC) meetings are held four or five times a year, each in a different region of the country. In January of each year, there is an additional planning meeting for the coming year that is open to everyone. Participation in CIC is open to all individuals who share an interest in the collision industry. There are no “members” of CIC, only participants. All participants share an equal standing.
Questions or issues for discussion should be submitted in writing (preferably in advance of the meeting) for consideration to the CIC Chairperson, the chairpersons of the appropriate CIC Committees, or any member of the “New Business and Issues Committee,” which is composed of past CIC chairpersons. Anti-trust Guidelines are read prior to each meeting and are strictly enforced.
Recording Statement: Videotaping of any kind with any type of device is strictly prohibited at CIC meetings. Audio recording is allowed only by the trade media and audio tapes are to be destroyed upon completion of their writings. Anyone found recording without the express permission of the CIC Chairman and/or Executive Director will be asked to discontinue and asked to leave the meeting; the recording will be confiscated or deleted.”
NOTE: All the above room blocks are available until 45 days prior to the event at which time they will be dropped. Reservations attempted after this date are subject to availability and possibly non-group rates.
Word to the wise: It is easier to make your reservations now and change them when plans are finalized than to wait and attempt to get a room that does not exist.
